A special episode produced by The Innovation Agency, the Academic Health Science Network for the north west coast.

When six year old Leah Bennett was found to have a tumour which wrapped around her spine, arteries and organs it was described by surgeons in three centres as ‘impossible’. We hear from Leah, her dad Stephen and Alder Hey paediatric surgeon Joanne Minford how the impossible became possible, with the help of a 3D model – and a huge team at Alder Hey, including a vascular specialist from Liverpool University Hospitals.
